At DOGOKO-ULMER we do not only breed Great Danes. We give life to a project built on passion, dedication and respect for an exceptional breed.

Behind this name there are people —José María, Sonia and all those who share their commitment— who have turned their love for the Great Dane into a way of life. Two passionate people united by the same motivation: to preserve the essence of the breed through responsible, artisanal and selective breeding.

Excellence is built generation after generation. The story of DOGOKO-ULMER is written by our dogs.

We do not measure our project by the number of litters, but by the generations we have built. Each mating responds to a purpose and each new generation represents a commitment to the future of the Great Dane.

Two affixes. One same objective.

DOGOKO-ULMER is born from the union of two affixes dedicated exclusively to the Great Dane, each specialised in a different variety. The combination of both trajectories brings together knowledge, experience and the same way of understanding breeding, giving rise to a synergy that is reflected in the quality and identity of our breeding lines.

With one same objective: to preserve, improve and protect the essence of the Great Dane.

Artisanal breeding, careful selection.

Our philosophy is based on artisanal breeding, far from overproduction and guided by the planning of each mating. Each litter is the result of a previous study in which health, type, character and balance are assessed, with a single purpose: to contribute, generation after generation, to the improvement of the Great Dane.

Committed to the breed.

We are members of the Royal Canine Society of Spain (RSCE), with the distinction of RSCE Premium Breeder, and members of the Great Dane clubs of Spain, France, Portugal and Germany. This international commitment allows us to share knowledge, maintain permanent contact with the evolution of the breed and continue learning in order to continue improving generation after generation.

Because breeding is not producing. It is assuming the responsibility of preserving, selecting and improving, generation after generation, the legacy of the Great Dane.
